Today is Global Accessibility Awareness Day... Is Your Website  Accessible?

We’re thrilled to celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day! In a world where the Internet plays such a big part in our day-to-day lives, equal access has never been more important! We are proud to help make the web more inclusive for everyone.

What is Website Accessibility?

Website accessibility is the set of rules, behaviors and code standards that enable people with disabilities to use websites in a way so they are not hindered by their disability. This means having facilities for disabled folk which allow them easy navigation as well as reading content on-screen without any difficulties or problems associated therewith; basically making sure all online information can easily be reached and read through22 guidelines created by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).

Benefits of having an ADA Compliant Website

The benefits of having a website that adheres to the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) are twofold: an increase in potential customers due to its accessibility for those who cannot use traditional forms or websites; as well as decreased risk when it comes time defend against lawsuits filed by these same populations. The increased market segmentation makes sense because people with disabilities make up such a large group—estimated at 60 million adults aged 18 years old+.

Websites are being sued because they're not ADA compliant

Since the change in law, many businesses with websites have been targeted by lawsuits. Technically it only takes one non-compliance to be at risk of being sued and there's little defense against such claims - even for large corporations or local business owners who may find themselves in court proceedings this year as well! fines are reaching new highs from the typical $10K and up in 2018 to the now normal $20K  - $200K

How To Making Your Site ADA Compliant

Now that you can see the benefits of having an accessible website, the question is how to you achieve that?

There are several ways to get your website ADA Compliant. These range from simple, low cost, overlay plugins that only provide about 20% compliance, or manual redemption using advanced custom coding that can provide a 100% solution (and as you might have guessed is very expensive).

We, however, have another solution that uses Artificial Intelligence that provides full compliance on-the-fly at a very affordable price. In fact, our site uses this solution to provide full website accessibility.
