Our plans are designed to keep your site updated and out of the sights of potential wrong-doers. We monitor your sites on a daily basis and create a full backup of your website which we store on a cloud server for security.



But that’s not all we do...



Your website needs to be a dynamic, ever-changing tool, so we include support time each month for content and design updates, and more.

  • * Plugin/Widget licenses

    Premium plugins and widgets typically carry a subscription fee which covers their continued development and support. If this annual fee is not paid then the plugin continues to work but it is not possible to update the plugin which can lead to compatibility issues or security issues.


    There are a number of plugins, that we may use on your website, for which we maintain a developers license and that allows us to use the plugin on clients’ sites.

    We refer to these as BASIC or DEV plugins and in most cases the fees associated with the plugins are covered by the monthly care plan.

    Should we decide to stop using a basic/dev plugin and stop paying the associated annual license fee, then you have the choice to buy your own license or replace the plugin. If you decide to cancel your care plan then you will need to procure your own license for the plugin.


    Plugins and Widgets that are used on your site for which we do not have a developers license are referred to as CUSTOM. Depending on the plugin/widget the subscription fee may be covered by the care plan, however, for some very specialized plugins the client may need to procure their own license.

    Due to the amount of set up that is required we require clients to commit to 3 months – after that you can cancel any time.

  • Why does my site need to be updated?

    All software is vulnerable. You need to get protected.

    Software needs updating to stay secure and run at optimum levels. Without adequate security websites can get hacked and attacked, even some of the big players like Twitter and Facebook, as well as millions of small businesses.

  • Can't I do it myself?

    Sure! After we build the site and it is handed over to you are in control. But wouldn’t you rather be focusing on your business?

    And, be honest with yourself, will you actually do it?

    Keeping your website up to date, backed up, secure and running on all cylinders can be a time consuming and tedious process. Not only does technology and strategies continue to evolve making it a full-time job to keep abreast of all the trends and developments, it can also take experience to know what is safe to update and what can cause problems resulting in even more work.

  • What are the benefits of you assisting in adding content?

    Firstly, we take the pressure off you having to make your changes.

    Secondly, we make sure that each update is performed inline with best practices of SEO.

    Thirdly, we can often make suggestions on how to use the new content for additional results.

  • What happens if my website goes down because it got hacked or I broke it?

    Our website maintenance plans provide preventative care, designed to substantially reduce the chances of anything from happening. However, there are no guarantees and things happens.  If your website encounters a major issue, we will be there and work with the web hosting provider on your behalf. If the problem was ‘self-inflicted’ (yes- it happens, people press the wrong button or click on something they shouldn’t) then we will work with you to correct the problem or restore the site from a cloud based backup.


    While we do everything we can to prevent a site from being hacked, no-one can truly guarantee it. Should it happen, we will assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our cloud based backups.

  • Does monthly support time rollover?

    The maintenance plans are monthly plans and we reserve time to service your needs each month. Consequently, the support time does not rollover.The exception to this is for clients on the PRO+ plan can rollover support time for up to 3 months making it ideal for quarterly updates.

  • How do I get more support time for specific project?

    If you have a specific website enhancement  or other website related project that requires more than your allocated monthly support time, please submit a support ticket through our helpdesk detailing your needs. We will get back to you with the time we estimate the project will take. Upon you approval, we will schedule the work which will be invoiced at our normal hourly rates.

But actually, this is a good thing.Just as most malware and viruses target Windows computers, because they are so  popular, it is similar for WordPress. The platform is so popular because of its incredible power and flexibility. This makes it a popular choice for large and  small businesses alike. Since WordPress now powers over 30% of all websites on the internet it has become a target for hackers and that is why updating WordPress with each version is the single best way to ensure you are protected.Please note that if have arranged hosting for you on one of hosting packages, we will allow you to be behind 2 versions from current. Any version older than that will result in the hosting service being suspended.  This is not some sadistic method to get you to sign up for a maintenance plan, it is actually done to protect other users on our hosting. By having an insecure website you compromise the security of the service to others.

    Our maintenance plans are designed for sites that were built by us, however, we welcome clients who are looking for a long term partner with a professional and dedicated web team.

    Before we take on website that we did not build we first need to do an evaluation so we can become familiar with the site. We look at the way it was built and identify any issues we feel need to be addressed. As part of the evaluation we will, if appropriate, make a full backup of the site and update any software that is out of date.
